Crackers

I've about given up on all the "rules" of introducing solid food to your baby. Joshua has spit out nearly everything I've given him. He actually ate a few containers of carrots last week, so we thought there was hope, but this week he refused everything including applesauce. Joshua seems to be completely uninterested in us feeding him anything. He just closes his mouth. Out of desparation this week to keep him quiet during dinner we've been giving him crackers. He loves to hold them himself and crunch them up in his mouth. I think he spits out most of the cracker, but he swallows a little. He is also enjoying trying to rake Cheerios into his mouth. It makes a HUGE mess all over the floor, the highchair and him, but it is worth it for a few minutes of quiet while the rest of us eat dinner.
