Monkeys and Smiles

The last month has kind of flown by; we had a Brown family get-together the first weekend of October at my mom's house, and enjoyed watching my brother Peter march in his high school homecoming parade / football game. In mid-October we took a trip to Pittsburgh (me, Nicole, and the boys) in conjunction with some training I was going to, and saw lots of old friends. In late October we spent some time with Nicole's family as her dad was recovering from a knee replacement surgery. And now here we are, almost to Thanksgiving, and Joshua is three months old. Time flies.

So, here's the reason for my post title. The boys were monkeys for Halloween, and below are some belated pictures (we did trick-or-treating in Grand Rapids in Nicole's family's neighborhood). As you can see, Caleb's monkey suit was a little too hot to wear for candy eating. And the second part of the post title: Joshua loves to smile for us now, as you can see in the last picture (taken today).
