What?!?! More News?!?!

Yesterday, coincidentally on Nicole's birthday, we received an offer on our house! And today we wrapped up negotiations and signed the agreement to sell. The closing will be March 28, which aligns perfectly with our existing plans. (We're moving into the furnished apartment on March 15, but I have a training class in Pittsburgh from March 24-27 so we'll just come back for the moving company to pack us up, and also close.) The people had come through for a showing on Dec. 31st but had been biding their time for some reason. Needless to say this was a great and unexpected birthday surprise for Nicole.

You probably recall we were previously under contract back in November, and the deal fell through. Since we've been burned before, we're not counting all of our chickens yet, but this is definitely a great feeling to have our house [most likely] sold. And we actually got a little more money with this buyer than the last one who backed out.
