Updates

Time for a quick update...

Nicole and I went on vacation last week at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland (the part just south of Western PA - only a two hour drive). It was our first adult-only getaway since Caleb was born, and really since over three years ago, so it was a long time coming. We had a great time hiking, boating, and just generally relaxing. Unfortunately, we forgot our camera, so I can't post any good pictures... my mom, along with Dorrie and her boyfriend Danny, came down to watch Caleb.

Our trip was the biggest highlight of the last three weeks. In other news, I've restarted grad classes, and have two going on this semester. I'm getting a bit of senior-itis, as I will be graduating in December (finally!).

And of course I should give a Caleb update - he continues to run around, and is learning to count (he has the concept down, but not necessarily all the numbers in the right order). He's also starting to sing, and sings along with the ABC song one of his toys plays (again, not perfect, but definitely in the ballpark). He finds new ways to make us laugh every day, like his latest habit of responding to questions not with a "yes" but with a resounding "yes I do" (i.e., "Caleb, do you want some cereal?"... "Yes I do").
